lettres d'amour

Hand written letters have an importance unlike any other. They are history. They are the peepholes for the future to look into the past. Notes don’t embrace the meaning they used to enclose before electronic mail was introduced into our lives. You used to really have to think about what you were going to writing, there was no backspace, and there was no spell check. People get too caught up in the computerized life to go back to the mortar and pestle way of doing things. But it is such a pleasant feeling to receive something that isn’t a bill, maybe just a nice letter from my grandma.

JAPAN.

"They couldn't get a hold of her mom for quite a while but now everything is cool. Yeah, it looks pretty bad but Reina's mom works in a nice building and said everyone in her building didn't know it was serious until she looked at the building across from her and noticed people were tripping and shit was falling off the walls so they were like, um okay lets evacuate."

my thoughts are with you:

Text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation and support our disaster relief efforts to help those affected by the earthquake in Japan and tsunami throughout the Pacific.

a song is anything that can walk by itself .

Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'.

THINK GREEN.

Here's a simple way to make your home feel a little more green & alive in this dreadful cold slushy weather that doesn't take a lot of time or maintenance.

What you'll need:
Second hand/antique jars
Compost soil & tiny rocks
Small cactus/moss plants or whatever makes you feel pleased.
Funny miniature mushrooms or my favorite baby gnomes
Good ol’ H2o

These moss creatures look fancy anywhere in your environment, just spruces up a dead room.

MOTHER: 1908

Today is International Women's Day, The first IWD was observed on 19 March 1908 in Germany. I delicate this day to my mum because shes the finest woman I know; she’s more in love with me than anyone. She supports everything I want in life & inspires me to try more, to be more, to want & achieve, anything is possible with her love. She brings me back from the dead, and has the best smile I’ve met. Anyone that knows the k.l.b. remembers her for her comical laugh, impressive skills making tasty recipes out of nothing at all, remarkable love for sleeping in, and those tiny baby hands. I love you my maj.

missing my sweet summer lovin' in the dandelions

Looking out the window at this lifeless dreary day, it’s snowing again. Where are the bulbs and flower babies popping out of the stiff winter soil. I can’t wait for the smell of tan skin on the dock at the lake… oh how I miss you sweet summer.
